I see Nintendo as a threat to grown up hardcore gamers world wide. If I could pay off people to not buy their consoles I would.

But in the end; I just keep reminding myself on the only viable remedy. I simply just avoid any and all Nintendo products until they disappear off the market.

Nintendo should go the way of Sega. Drop mainstream consoles and focus on hand held markets and releasing Nintendo games on PS/Xbox.

Yes sir, I would. They are a toxic influence on my hobby. Thanks to the Wii, we're now forced to deal with mandatory kinect/move for the next gen power consoles.

How about people with smartphones? Would you try to stop them from buying their $1 crap? How about games with micro transactions? Day-1 DLC you have to pay for?

Those seem to be bigger threads to me than motion controls, which even Nintendo has mostly dropped with the WiiU. But each to his own, I guess...

Unity 4 is only for small games. It's nowhere on the same leage as UE4.

You know what kind of games use Unity as their engine? Temple Run.

True, but don't underestimate the unity 4 engine it can do some big things. I use it myself and can say that its capable of some cool stuff. 

Plus Unity is truly multiplatform and poses an undercuting threat, seems to be moving upstream: first mobile, then downloadable... next retail?

What was everyone and the early adopters expecting? Mario and Zelda in UE4/FB3? C'mon.
