They might as well wait intill E3 if they want to announce it in May imo. Sony did a great job in Feb to announce it. After Holidays, Hype, B4 M$ a Announcement! Nintendo did it on E3 2011!

problem is that it would be too much stuff to show then. many people don't want to watch a 3 hours show, it's better to show the first stuff earlier (tech demos and so on) and going in detail at e3 with all the games and stuff.

maybe they will do it like they did with the 360.

I think May was when MS announced the Xbox 360 on MTV and that worked out pretty damn good for them. But this guy is a tech blogger so it's not an official statement from MS. I doubt he would tweet it unless he trusted his source so he's probably right, but I'm going to consider it as much of a rumor as the April rumor.
