Forums - Nintendo - So No MGSV For Wii U Either. Where's All This Japanese Support We Were Promised?

This seemed to be the big promise for Wii U owners, don't worry about Western 3rd party devs because Japanese devs will come through.

Well where are they? Where's Metal Gear Rising on Wii U (a game designed by a Wii U friendly studio)? Now I guess it was to be expected by MGSV left off the Wii U ... yeah predictable I guess, but still frustrating.

So basically we should be content with maybe a few scraps from Ubi Soft every 3-4 months and perphas a 360/PS3 port of Call of Duty. Whoopity doo.

I don't think that Kojima has ever really cared for Nintendo.

It's been a decade since Metal Gear has had any real presence on Nintendo consoles. I didn't expect that to change anytime soon.

I don't expect much Japanese support from anyone other than maybe Capcom, who is always good for a few ports, remakes, and occasional niche exclusives.

Yeah the SSBB Snake was pretty much it.

We ain't going to seeing Snake on a Ninty platform soon. (Or game for that matter)

When was this ever promised?

I speak for all of us when I declare myself shocked at this turn of events.

I dont intend to be a troll, but considering how the Wii performed in that aspect, it was what I expected to happen. But, who knows maybe Nintendo will try to "incentive" Kojima to make the game for the WiiU.
