I think it's doing pretty piss poor. Of course it's far too early to doom it before Mario Kart and company hit, but that's entirely Nintendo's fault for arranging such a shitty, shitty, shitty launch. And it certainly doesn't justify the pathetic straw-grabbing that's going on in threads like this one. "OH WOW A WII U GAME ALMOST CRACKED THE TOP 10 IN THE WORLD'S MOST ANEMIC MARKET YIPPEE." This is Sony fan circa 2006 stuff.

I never got how he assumed those sales. But Tri only sold around 7k on the Wii so it ain't bad.

Most likely calculated them based on drop offs for other games close to it. He then used the 45% ratio to find out WiiU sales specifically.

I would say Tri selling 7k on Wii was bad, maybe even worse. But they're both still bad.

Yeah but I got closer to 3,500 when I did that.

and MH just isn't a big franchise. Still sold about a million outside of Japan though.

The Wii U sales will eventually pick up and software will start selling... but it is not there yet. I know you guys are anxious for any positive news for the system but trying to force the issue won't help.

Just have patience is the best advice I can give you now

But yeah you're right, except that I used the individual chart and not the all formats chart, so I didn't need to use the 45% figure (it could make it more accurate but that's not really important with these comparably tiny numbers). it's between 5.5k and 5k and since I use VGC numbers, let's say there is a possible +/- 10% divergence, since I also assume that all versions for a certain game have the same percental drop off.
