What are you guys talking about? I was told all Mario games are the same rehash for the last 100 years.

I'm hoping it will have the pure gameplay fun of the Galaxy games without the galaxy part. I want the traditional world of Mario from the early games but the focus on platform jumping that Galaxy has. Something like Mario 3D Land but with longer more challenging levels.

The only thing we can be sure of is that it will look bloomin gorgeous. Can't wait until E3 so that we can see what EAD are able to do with that sort of power under the hood. Super Mario Galaxies 1 and 2 can stand shoulder to shoulder with plenty of 360 titles (albeit at a lower resolution) and not look too out of place imo.

I loved the Galaxy games but I hope the game is more like Super Mario 64 but with the entire Mushroom Kingdom instead of the Peach Castle.
Or it could be like Banjo Tooie where you didn't enter the worlds using paintings or portals and instead the worlds were interconnected.

well we know he'll get doped out of his mind on shrooms at some point and either think he's on fire or giant and bashing his head against the ceiling and stomping all animal life in the immediate vicinity.  In fact Mario's a horrible person...and especially plumber when you think about it

It will have A LOT more effort put into it than the New Super Mario Bros U game...... and probably sell less lifetime.....
