Forums - Gaming - Capcom announce DuckTales Remastered

This is such good news to me, I had to check if it was April 1st before I would even believe it is true...

If by inferior you mean better animation, in game sounds and music, then yes, that might explain the "unncessary violence".  Anyhow, people can decide for themselves among the two here:

If you judge a game's quality by its animation, I guess so. But in that case Dragon's Lair is the best game of all time.

I'm sorry, but no Genesis game has better sound than its SNES counterpart. Everything rendered by that sound card sounds harsh and tinny and makes my ears bleed.

Genesis/Mega Drive version...

An inferior version that tries to cover up its inferiority with unnecessary violence.

The SNES/Genesis versions of Aladdin are completely different games made by different development teams. Just like Jurassic Park and Batman Returns as well.

Duck Tales is easily on my top 5 NES games. They should start doing to all the NES and Sega Master System classics.

Mickey mousecapade will always be the superior disney adventure

Great news. I would love it if Capcom included the original version too.

Wayforward, huh? Their stuff is always good.

Always is overestimation. Should I remind about Double Dragon Neon? But it gives some hope.

Sorry you think EVERY SINGLE GENESIS GAME has sound that makes you ears bleed.  Sorry that the likes of Technosoft and other titles have bad music and sound, in your opinion.  You said EVERYTHING rendered by that sound card makes your ears bleed.  Well, that is your opinion of course.

Finally I can return that copy that I borrowed from my best friend after 20 years... I didn't want to let it go..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

They don't all have bad music. Bad sound, yes. But Ys, Thunder Force, and Streets of Rage all have amazing music that is somewhat marred by a sound chip is so fucking inferior to the SNES' that it's unbelievable.
