Welbeck is scoring enough though. Could do with better midfield though.

Welbeck is what he is - a 4th choice striker that plays in a variety of positions.

Lewandowski will not take the place of a 4th choice striker. He will want to be number 1 or number 2. The only way Man U will sign a player like Lewandowski is if Rooney leaves like the rumors suggest he may.

I agree with you about your midfield, though its more attacking options out wide you need. Part of the reason Welbeck hasnt scored as many as he should has been because he's been played out wide. Nani and Anderson arent good enough and you need a replacement for Giggs.

Id also take a good, strong look at your back 4. De Gea has been unbelievable for you this season. Without him, things wouldnt look so rosy for the likes of Ferdinand and Co.

De gea was not so good at the start of the season but now he's amazing, also forgot to mention how Shinji Kagawa has potential to become amazing, just need 2 or 3 excellent midfielders then we're good to go.

Kagawa is already there, he just needs game time.

Funny how he swoons over a Dortmund guy and then dismisses the one that they got from Dortmund before.

Predictions?

I actually still feel like Madrid will take this one. I can see them winning 3-0 or 4-0. Barcelona on the other hand will probably lose again :p.

3-1 Madrid tonight.

Dortmund deserve the final, they will get it!

2-1 Barca tomorrow

It pains me to say it, but an all German final at Wembley would be cool

Man Utd is the richest club in England - probably the world - yet a couple years ago was almost $1bn in debt. I am not sure what the figures are now

The debt Manchetser United incurred was down to the Glazer take over.  The debt has been successfully paid down every year.  The Glazers will walk away from this whole deal about a billion dollars richer.  I don't care for the practice, but that is the way it goes.  The point being Manchester United has spent within what wealth it generates.

Other clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea have had artifical wealth injected by ownership, there is no way based on their revenues they could possibly afford those transfers and wages.

Personally I think the Bundesliga has the best model for financial responsibility in European football.

I could see Madrid getting a 2-1 at the Bernabeu, but not enough to overturn the first leg.

Goetze off with hamstring injury and Madrid are pressing, this could get interesting if they find a break through before HT.

Madrid is squandering chances and now about to run out of time. 20 minutes to go.

Benzema makes it 1-0 in 82nd, seems maybe too late though as the seconds tick away.
