What I don't get is this downplaying of the impact on 360 sales from the 1+ year head start and the FREAKING $200 PRICE DIFFERENCE FOR THE FIRST FEW YEARS. And at the same time, acting like the NeXbox is going to perform similarly in EU and Japan without those HUGE advantages.

Look at the PS3. It fumbled out the gate at the beginning, pretty much handing the gen to Nintendo and MS, yet it probably has already passed the 360 and will end up extremely close to the Wii (maybe even tying with it.) We only have to look at the PS1 and PS2 to see what Sony can do with a healthy launch.

i think the ps4 is gunna be hard to beat it has a massive fan base plus it has alot of terrortories where the ps4 does exstremely well year after year i reckon xbox will be second nintendo third last gen the wii was a great console that apealled to everyone there latest entry prob wont do this as its trying to be more like the ps3 & x360 with a bit more power nxt month we mite see a bit of the nxt xbox im hopeing that it is a total diffrent beast than the other two being a fan but i also would like all the cosoles to do well and i do hope all of us are treated to some awesome games this year and beyond.

Perhaps because repeating this *opinion* over and over again doesn't make it true. The x360 launch and first years were also horrible. The thing was as loud as a plane starting, it had massive bad press due to RROD in all media and the user-reception in forums was also bad. Why are you all ignoring this?

There will be always light after darkness ;) It's only because MS doesn't tell us anything officially and ppl keep pushing all the bad rumors around but then it comes down to: nobody (in relation to the whole market) cares what we are talking about or which userbase here is bigger/better or whatnot.
