I don't know what's more incredible, the fact that Pachter didn't chose a Sony console to win, or the fact that I actually agree with him.

Why would Pachter do such a horrible thing? Why is he condemning the nextbox to death?

All Pachter had to say was America and it wouldve made more sense.

Pachter already saw the next Xbox I am quite sure of this, he only can't talk to much about details. Pachter talked in his last ´Show on Gametrailers that he had good private connections to Microsofts Major Nelson/Larry Hryb, so you can be quite sure that Pachter knows far more about the next Xbox as he is allowed to tell.

PS. Yes I can see it happen that the next Xbox become NR.1 console at least in the US market and if Microsoft did a good job with the next Xbox and they get even only a little bit more consumers in Europe than they can be NR.1 in total Hardwaresales as well.

Pachter commonly really only talks about the US market or North American market. He's a classic one for talking as if USA is the world. Then again if he's talking 85-95 million in sales for both PS4 and Nextbox, so that's definitely the world. If both consoles LTD at that level then it'll be a close run thing and impossible to predict from here. So I think the certainty with which the Xbox win is announced suggests he means America only on that slide, while he's being more equivocal on the worldwide outlook slide by giving PS4 and Nextbox the same sort of LTD sales range.

I still don't think Wii U is out of contention. Nintendo still has 6 months or so to turn things around and get a sales bump. A price cut just around PS4/Nextbox launch (before would be better I suppose) would be a bit of a wet blanket on the PS4 launch, and create that important price differential between Wii U and the technologically superior PS4/Nextbox. But if Nintendo doesn;t wipe out the competition with Wii U this holidays, and Nextbox and PS4 have good launches then it's going to be a hard generation for Wii U. It will have built up a tidy lead, and it will take quite a while for Nextbox and / or PS4 to overhaul it. So Wii U will be the generation sales leader for a while.

This. Good call, since it was a presentation for american investors, that is probably what he meant. Also, Xbox720 will do amazing, I am sure of that. And, at the USA it will KILL.

I will buy a PS4 first and it will take a little effort to MS seduce me this time, but I am confident that MS will get a fat slice of the cake this gen, my only concern is that SONY doesn´t die, cause I love them so much =D

Nintendo... Nintendo will be fine, 3DS is on a roll, and WiiU will sell enough to make a healthy profit.
