I think you are not understanding what I'm saying here. It's nothing to do with nintendoz it's the market not wantin handhelds anymore. It has been hard for Nintendo to sell the 3DS so hard infact they had to cut the price in half to get sales. Can you imagine in 5 years time how much harder it will be to sell a handheld? Everyone will have a smart phone with game graphics that top vita and 3DS easy! I think Sony and Nintendo should focus more on the mobile market now getting ready for the future! They might not be able to make hardware for handheld but they might be able to dominate software 

I don't know why you keep trying to bring Vita up? The vita sales are horrendous at best.

unless the 3DS was $600 at launch I wouldn't say it's a great comparison. It also had 2 competitors who's sales where better. The 3DS almost has 100% market share of this portable gen and its sales are poor. Not bashing Nintendo again I'm bashing the mass market. What I'm saying again is that in 5 years the next portable genie will be impossible for Nintendo to move hardware! That's why in my opinion Sony and Nintendo should invest in mobile gaming now. 

Actually it would be interesting to see a Nintendo phone! God every kid under 15 would want one I bet. (I would probs get one even)

I get wat you mean but that wont stop Nintendo, look at pokemon for example. Lets say a handheld is only for pokemon right? There are millions that would buy it instantly! As well as Mario/Kirby/etc. Handhelds will shrink but not leave, Nintendo got it in the bag! Dont underestimate Pokemon/Monster Hunter/Mario!

The 3DS frist 1 year sales is greater then the DS & GBA & PSP & first 1 year sales, and same goes for the first 2 year sales.

Just compare any other Handheld first 2 year sales to the 3DS first 2 year sales.

The 3DS is the bestest/fastest selling Console ever. The PS2 & Wii & DS at this same point of their seperate life spam sold less then what the 3DS has archive.

And there are lots of people who are going to buy the 3DS by April 1st for Monster Hunter & Castlevania & Luigi Mansion & Pokémon Mystery Dungeon which has proven itself thru it's free demo.

It will be better if Sony stop releasing Handheld Consoles. PSP was a fad and no one is coming back, at best Sony can hope for is GameCube sales with PS Vita. And since 3rd Party doesn't support them, it means it's not worth to waste billions on Hardware.

That's precisely the point - if it weren't for Nintendo and the N64, the Playstation wouldn't have gotten dual analogs. Indeed, it's unlikely that dual analogs would have been on the PS2, either. There isn't a primary control interface in any generation since the fourth that didn't originate with Nintendo (in consoles - similar interface features in PC, or in smartphones, etc, are not the same thing). Shoulder buttons, analog sticks and rumble, motion controls, and now touch. Debatably also wireless controllers. They've also added NFC, which has yet to catch on, but is probably going to be standard in the 9th generation.

Note the word "primary", though. I'm not referring to Eyetoy/Kinect, which is a secondary peripheral control method, comparable to the Balance Board (not in terms of functionality, but in terms of it being a secondary peripheral control method). I suppose you could consider "triggers" to be an innovation, but that's very debatable.

I'd also point to handheld innovation, but Nintendo hasn't really had any serious competition in that space. The closest, the PSP, was basically a GBA on steroids. And the DS's innovation was copied with the Vita.

Just think what a next-generation zelda would look like on the Ps4.
