Would it be better for the GAMERS if Nintendo became software only?

It will be better if they stop releasing home consoles. Wii was fad and casuals are not coming back, at best Nintendo can hope to match GC sales with U. And since 3rd party doesnt support them it mean its not worth to waste billions on hardware.
