I DUNNO! I have two OS running. One is win XP because i refuse to let it go LOL. I have a low azz resolution on it because I mostly play a ..super old game online :P. But I can go up to 1680 x 1050 here..

The other is Vista (now you know why I use XP mostly XD) and.. i couldve swore i had like 1080p there but i dunno! Maybe its the 1680x1050..

 

But anyway: I have a laptop which has Nvidia Geforce GT650M , is that any better? Runs on Win 7 :> 1080P (Full HD) on this one :3

i7 3610QM, 2.3 Ghz CPU

Nah, that laptop card is quite a bit worse. What is your CPU (desktop PC)?

If you're only working with 1680*1050 you could probably come close to maxing this game (if you have a decent CPU and enough RAM )

Oh yah, you should have 64 bit Vista  ;o. Maybe it would be easier to run it on the laptop? I do not know

Shit got real! You telling me even noobs can use this?

Using blender to it's mastery is surely no task for noobs. Modelling and so on is hard stuff. But you get it for free and if you're good enough you can create great looking graphics.

They have a lot of tutorial videos on their web site if you really want to get into it, you also need to look at certain plug-ins so you can import assets from other games after you extract assets from them if you want a basis to look at.

As long as you don't turn on the tressfx hair or tessellation and keep AA off(FXAA might be OK though), you can max everything else out at 1050p.

 

PS: or just experiment with hair on but make sure to keep tess and AA to off or FXAA.

That's what I have, I can run a lot of max things, except the tressfx, SSAO on normal, AA set to FXAA, and I don't like DoF. What's your CPU?

There's issues with nvidia drivers and game with nvidia so I'd wait a week or so it will be more optimal experience. Particularly if you don't like to fidget with things troubleshooting.
