see if its with the hardware, nintendo is seriously fucked. digital downloads are getting bigger by the day and to have a really slow console when it comes to downloading games will really hurt them. considering you can play games while downloading them on the ps4 this really will become a problem for the WiiU and if its hardware the only way to fix it is to make a redesign of the console, which probably wont come out for until atleast another year. by then the damage would have been done.

Wow. I downloaded nsmbu. It took me about 5 hrs. Kens rage 2 took 3 hrs. I've read in a few places about it taking forever, but 26 hrs. I'd be pissed. Hell, i was pretty pissed at 5 hrs. I agree, and hope that the next update fixes the download speed. It is VERY slow. Or the only games I'll be downloading are for virtual console.

Its the only option in my area unless I go to DSL which is worse overall. I litterally have ZERO issues with anything else. I don't think its throttling as it took over a day to download and was slow at all times. Yet there were a few times people were using netflix without issue and I ran the speed test about 10hrs into it.

It was remarkably slow throughout the entire download.

I can add to the fact that I started DLing my demo of MH3U on WiiU and 3ds at the same time.

The 3DS finished DLing before the WiiU did, and I played the demo for about 40 min until the WiiU version was ready.

Yeah the it's pretty bad.

The 3DS download speeds aren't bad. I haven't quite tested out the Wii U's speed, as most of my downloads aren't very big there. I ordered an external harddrive so I can download games in the future, so I'll find out whether or not this is more of a personal problem or a software problem (can't really be hardware, as the hardware is perfectly capable of doing speeds faster than the 3DS).

Yeah, don't blame Nintendo or Wii U. My downloads were at a much, much faster rate. Like at least 10X. I'm not sure what your problem is, but it sounds very frustrating.

first, i would like to see how those that work on the PS4, playing while downloading.
Now, try downloading something that big on other systems, ask your neighbor or something, because 1 GBs demos are actually less than 30 minutes for me. And yes, NIntendo servers are not that fast, but I won't complain for that because in my case they are nothing that bad, and i am not paying for it.

To be fair, the 3DS version is a quarter the size :p

I downloaded Crysis to my PS3 in 45 minutes. LOL
