Yes. I spend the least amount of time in Nintendo threads

Yes, personal viewpoints on this are important, due to the lack of said data.

No. If anything, PlayStation fans are the worst of the lot for playing the victim, to then be trolling away in Nintendo threads.

This forum is full of competitive people who support their prefered console rabidly. It comes with the site. Its sales. Its competitive and its what makes VGChartz as a site stand out from others.

Saying this, and as a PS "supporter", I can say that PS fans are the worst when it comes to both trolling and being the victim. Why? They fight on two fronts. Old rivalries with Nintendo and new rivalries with Xbox. They troll both just as much as they can, and get back exactly what they give. Ninty fans and Xbox fans pretty much ignore eachother and you rarely, if ever, see confrontation between them.

I'll be the first to admit I'm biased, as is just about everyone on these forums.  And it is true that the aggression comes from all sides equally, though sometimes it escalates depending on how your console of choice it doing.  If your console is doing poorly, just expect bashing from the other two.  Hell, if it's doing exceptionally well, expect bashing from the other two.  Personally, I don't have a problem with it.  I just wish people would actually debate people's comments/thoughts more often, instead of crying about their side being a victim all the time.  Well, unless it goes overboard to the point they are attacking the actual person, then you can just report them.

Fanboys beget fanboys. They provoke until things go FUBAR. The toughest part is when you get wrapped up in an argument that you wanted no part of, but the strawman attacks keep piling up from both sides until you can't even breathe.

It doesn't even matter who fired the first shot, because if a jerk from one side didn't, a jerk from the other side would have.

It reminds me of those group confrontations in bars and clubs. Like 90% of the people on both sides are trying calm things down when one dumbass throws a bottle, prompting all hell to break loose and making you feel like you have to fight back.

Good OP. Some of the spectacularly poor arguments thrown around in here at times speak volumes of peoples bias. And there is no fanbase that is "better" than the others, they simply have different methods of operation.
