The Gaikai comment is MINE, not the source. I think that it'll be pretty sweet. I wish I could tell you what it was. I will say no more about it.

Well, that makes it even more of a no-tell prediction. It gives you a free pass to declare whatever Sony shows of Gaikai as awesome and say that your prediction was correct.

You really jumped the gun with all of this. You have a friend that works in the industry and told you some stuff, then you get yourself into a situation where you want to bathe in attention, but also have to protect the identity of your source, because he has signed NDAs. Now you have to weigh if it's more important for you to save your credibility on this forum by spelling out information in a non-ambiguous manner or keep your source's job safe.

Oh I know!! I wish I could be more precise... Hopefully I will be able to be just that with time...

Yeah, it would seem I did just that. I've been itching to tell you all about what I found out about Nintendo and 3rd parties, so I got the permition to spread this (with the warning of being called a fan boy), and since so many people talked about the PS4 predictions I decided to make a new thread, so that Sony folks could enjoy them.

Hopefully my credibility will be restored come e3

I checked your E3 prediction thread and it looks like your source is already going back on some of the things he said (the PS4's price). This would be the point where you seriously have to consider confirmation bias and wishful thinking on your source's part.

Also, the prediction about Gaikai going to be awesome is something that's very subjective. Should give you another hint what the bias of your source is.

The Gaikai comment is MINE, not the source. I think that it'll be pretty sweet. I wish I could tell you what it was. I will say no more about it.

client based HOME that finally creates a virtual world that DOESN'T require load times?

It was in fact EA that found out that Nintendo was giving them gimped dev kits, and that's apparently why they walked away.

Well, as you don't name the company your source work for, I assume he don't work for EA. That means, your source in a 3rd-party-dev that is probably strongly connected to Sony (based on all the info about Sony) has heard that some EA-devs have found out about the gimped dev-kits by decompiling (or getting access to source) some 1st-party-game. So even your source knows this stuff not from own experience but only as something he heard from others. Makes this info more unstable. Maybe you can be more specific: which 1st-party-game was it, that used more RAM than the dev-kits for 3rd-party offered? So far released are Nintendoland, NSMBU and Sing Party (if I'm right). Coming games are Game&Wario, WiiFitU, Pikmin 3 and more in the future Mario Kart and 3D Mario. We expect also a Zelda WW HD remake this year. Smash Bros and new zelda probably are not coming this year. So the game from this year that might be make use of the extra RAM is Pikmin - more for the status on the creatures (not only the pikmin, also the enemies) than for graphic. Everything else this year should be not pushing the usage of RAM - although every dev is happy about more of it. But it makes no sense to keep RAM from third-parties, if you use it only in games, that would work with less. So Pikmin is my guess could be the only game that was using this. Only one game have an edge over competition seems like a poor result for scaring away 3rd-party. Zelda and SSB might have use for that extra RAM, but they are at least a year away.

Oh, I think we've already covered this in another post, right?

You say it could be sweet too, but then seem to infer that I could be in the ball park. MMs new game replaces HOME with fully customisable environments and game hubs run through your appartments?

Yes, you said you can't say it yet. This post you quote now was older.

I have to agree somewhat with people here, your source says canceled but it seems that the game may have been refused by all platform holders for a specific reasons and issues, I doubt it's strictly a Nintendo thing like claimed.

The multiplat game was put on hiatus due to changes within the developing studio...

Sounds to me that this is more the reason then anything.

The fact is that next gen Nintendo's console will by far be the most difficult system to develop for, since both PS4 and the next xbox use X86 pc architecture. Nintendo will be lucky if developers decide to port x360 games to the Wii-U, but once those dry up...
