Remove Duck Hunt for Counter Strike/Quake and you've got yourself a list.
5: Call of Duty 4. Spawned a huge craze of FPS on consoles and made CoD become a titan franchise that carried the HD twins to better times behind their costly launches. Only on here because of how it changed console gaming habits, and its economical impact, not innovation.
4: Quake/Unreal Tournament: Defined the PC gaming experience in the nineties and established the competitive FPS scene. Still going strong today.
3: Half Life/Half-Life 2. Did a lot of technical pioneering, especially in AI, as well as spwaned the gigantic Counterstrike mod/Did a lot of technical pioneering, especially in physics. A lot of games used its engine afterwards.
2: Doom. Monumentally improved on Wolenstein 3D and turned FPS into a big genre.
1: Wolfenstein 3D. Defined and established the genre, simple as that.

Lets not forget Turok. Really the first console FPS to have movement and gun aiming independent from eachothrr like a pseudo dual analog employing the directional c buttons on the n64 controller like an analog stick

The Turok games are among my absolute favourite games. Awesome setting and gameplay, and multiplayer.
Not the most innovative or influential but damn well-made and incredibly fun, even today.

Killzone 2???? Introduced a great cover mechanic to FPS games and is one of a few games to actually capture what war should be like.
Most of the list seems fine (assuming Half-Life is inclusing the Counterstrike mod) but as we're talking about influence, I question the inclusion of Goldeneye and Duck Hunt on the list.
Whilst Goldeneye was an amazing game and showed that FPS games could sell on consoles, it wasn't until Halo that a console FPS had a major influence on the genre (as far as games/gameplay goes, I prefer Goldeneye to Halo).
I'd put Wolfenstein 3D for truly creating the genre and Unreal Tournament for showing a multiplayer game could work on a critical and commercial level. Unreal Tournament also had the further influence of showcasing the first Unreal engine which has grown hugely in its last 3 iterations, and not just in the FPS genre.
