Forums - Nintendo - Criterion Commentary on Need for Speed U - WiiU is 'very powerful'

Mentioned developing Burnout 2: Point of Impact on GC which is the last race game I've bought (besides Mario Kart).  (When Acclaim published the game before EA got the IP)

March is going to be a decent month for the Wii U from the look of IGN's upcoming game schedule.

LEGO City alone would be enough; Monster Hunter just sweetens the deal.

Forgot all about LEGO City. Between Monster Hunter, Need for Speed and Pandora's Tower, my wallet is gonna take quite the beating.

Thank you criterion. Gotta support devs like this, help dat 3rd party situation. Will preorder now...

I've always had a soft spot for NFS, I might I have to check this out.

will wait for the DF faceoff if it can maintain the same framerate as 360/ps3, many developers have said wii u will have the best looking version but they never delivered.

lol lol lol i think im going to win the bet. lmfao remember the ports have to inferior to the 360. Par or better means i win

Bet with ninjablade:

Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.

I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.

I really want to know if they are going to incorporate a mode where you can have two players driving at once, one on the TV screen and one on the gamepad. I hated doing racers on split screens when they had such an open world to discover, because if I had my own screen I would be able to sneak up on said other player and ram them from some alley. Or is this just something I like doing?

Lol your bet is interesting. Are you including launch games? also you should add the games that have already meet the criteria of either statement.

Nintendo and PC gamer

Man, the Wii U is becoming so tempting every day, and I haven't tried a NFS game since the first Most Wanted... And now I know that I can get the US prices of the eShop here in Mexico.... hmmm...

Yeah, sure. We've heard enough of these Developers saying the Wii U is powerful, now let's get some real people's opinions! Amiright, or am I right?!

It's good news, but are you sure, were is much difference between PC and Xbox 360/PS3 versions?
Stumble across this video http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/need-for-speed-most-wanted-pc-vs-xbox-360-video
and you know what, i can't see any notable differences.
