will wait for the DF faceoff if it can maintain the same framerate as 360/ps3, many developers have said wii u will have the best looking version but they never delivered.

lol lol lol i think im going to win the bet. lmfao remember the ports have to inferior to the 360. Par or better means i win

Lol your bet is interesting. Are you including launch games? also you should add the games that have already meet the criteria of either statement.

nope, just upcoming games.
The criteria is bit iffy cuz Ninjablade keeps changing the rules. It is quit funny i just play along. Apparently im not allowed to count need for speed and rayman legends- if i did i would win :)

Bet with ninjablade:

Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.

I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.

I doubt many think EA "hates" the Wii U; it's more the about face since sharing the stage with Nintendo and comments in interviews has confused people as to what their feelings are. It looks to me like they're not taking it very seriously. If this game does the business and shows that titles which are tuned-up for the machine pay off that might change.

Worth considering once it has dropped to €20.

On a sidenote, do people really need analog shoulder buttons for gear shifting? Additionally, in a game like this you might as well play with automatic.

It's not for the shoulder buttons but for the triggers because they are used to accelerate and brake.

With regular triggers you only can acceleate or brake always at 100%, but if they are analog you can regulate them and brake a little or make a more progressive acceleration when getting out of a corner for example, things that are not that much needed for an arcade racing game like this one or Super Mario Kart but that are very welcome in sim games like Project Cars or Forza/GT.

Please excuse my bad English.

umm.. didnt every other developer say that the Wii U was powerful and stuff and that their ports/gamesfor the Wii U launch will be the best versions evah?!

How'd that turn out? oh, yeah....

"Like we'd be embarrassed if we didn't do anything extra; putting something out, any team could do that."

*Looks at other EA Wii U games*

Well, this is awkward.

Man, the Wii U is becoming so tempting every day, and I haven't tried a NFS game since the first Most Wanted... And now I know that I can get the US prices of the eShop here in Mexico.... hmmm...

The first NFS Most Wanted was one of my favorite games of the last generation (PS2,GCN), I wonder how the new one compares.  Anybody have any insights?

Launch ports. Also, we have in-game video showing upgraded visuals, as well as Digital Foundry indicating it is indeed a visual upgrade.

What an exaggeration.  Fifa looked best on wii u with the doubled res on the pitch & crowd, Trine the best, and the Aliens game..well we may not get to see that garbage game anyways.

The only blatant liars were activision, advertising wii u blops 2 to run  in "true hd: 720p" when DF exposed it to being the same as the 360's sub hd. The other multiplats  were a combination of lazy uneducated devs & Nintendo hiding/not providing proper  tools & documentation. but certainly don't recall more claims of wii u having a superior version, if anything, most devs clearly said they were not going to put extra work in visually, when they already had to deal with gamepad implementation.

@Bold: Criterion even indicated in the DF interview that they wouldn't have been able to pull this off by the launch window, stating their advantage as 'additional tools and help from Nintendo'. The launch titles were done on an early SDK that most likely was missing features, by devs who do not yet know the hardware, and without Nintendo being able to provide adequate support. Quality will continue to go up for future games. No launch port on any system has ever showcased a system's full potential.

Good to see Criterion is taking the time to make a good port...

However the game is destined to fail because it's been available for a year on other platforms, and that will become a justification to not do other Wii U projects...

Since when is 3 months equal to a year?

Since math is the result of cheese and knitting.
