Rather impressive considering how much more a PS3 costs than a 360 and Wii in this country.

We're 1/3 of the UK population, so youre looking at least 2 million for each of the ps3/360. I'm also not surprised the ps3 displays in stores has increased a significantamount in the last 2-3.

I don't believe we have a 250GB New look PS3 model, so it's either a 12GB or 500GB model to choose from, whereas there's a 250GB 360 for $100 less than the 500GB PS3. 

As for preowned models, I wasn't really referring to that.

So ebgames is a fake-shop or what? If you doubt things they list there, why rely on their prices?

The catch up is impressive, I remember the 360 being $500 cheaper than the ps3 when it launched, little wonder the 360 got a head start.

Next Gen hasn't released yet. Don't call this off yet. If domination doesn't sound right to you, PS leads currently.

exactly haha.  Us Americans are blockheaded once we dug into a console.  I can't tell you how many times I show people my exclusive library and all they have for Xbox is Halo and Gears but they've already decided they're going to buy the nextbox first.  It's always the same stuff "I like the controller though" or "yeah but my COD clan is on xbox."  They literally love every exclusive I let them play but it's like some sort of brainwashing cause even when they say stuff like "I'm definitely getting a PS3 this because of all the awesome exclusives and free online" they follow it up with something like "but I can't get used to the analogs/button layout so I'm getting the next xbox for COD and Madden first."  It kinda gets frustrating sometimes because I know most of them had PS2s so they could easily get used to the controller again it's just out of their comfort zone.

One must assume that this includes Wii U as well as Wii, as in a 3 horse race it is mathematically impossible to be number 1 with only 27%> I wouldn;t be at all surprised if this also included 3DS and PSVita.

I wonder if PS3's LTD has gone ahead of 360 yet. I know the last time this site actually reported Aus+NZ numbers (Boo Hiss that they stopped reporting this) 360 was still somewhat ahead.

SCEA aren't as revealing because PS3 is always so far behind 360. I'm guessing another month where 360 is streets ahead of anything else.

@ your most recent comment: Wii has dominated Japan with 54% I doubt PS3 takes Wii below 50% by the time PS4 rolls out. But then PS3 is reasonably close with 39%. So it's only the weakness of 360 there that makes Wii look good. But still, over 50% is over 50% which is dominant.
