This really is the wisest idea.  F* the exclusive demo, give Wii U an early exclusive digital DL.  It also brings more attention to Nintendo's eshop, so maybe Nintendo can provide a bonus incentive to Ubi.  They should take advantage of this press b/c it will be long and forgotten in Sept.

Well as you say, September is a massive month for games, and this will 99.9 % sink in september...

So many big games this month and as been seen this year so far, gamers are buying less, (Dead space, DMC etc)... so this coming out at the same month as GTA/FIFA .... dead. If they could get it out June-Aug they might have been ok.

Exactly. I see zero benefit in -not- doing this. Nobody cares about another demo. People have played the demos, they like the game, they want to buy it. I just cannot for the life of me think of a single reason for Ubisoft not to just put up an e-shop version.
