This really is the wisest idea.  F* the exclusive demo, give Wii U an early exclusive digital DL.  It also brings more attention to Nintendo's eshop, so maybe Nintendo can provide a bonus incentive to Ubi.  They should take advantage of this press b/c it will be long and forgotten in Sept.

Exactly. I see zero benefit in -not- doing this. Nobody cares about another demo. People have played the demos, they like the game, they want to buy it. I just cannot for the life of me think of a single reason for Ubisoft not to just put up an e-shop version.
