Wii U is going to do better graphics than PS3 in the next wave of games released for it.

Wishful thinking. Nintendo's IP are all cartoony and I doubt they'll do a realistic Mario game..
I have yet to see any Wii U game that compareds to Uncharted 2/3 or KIllzone 3. I doubt we ever will.

Realism =/= technically good graphics.

Also, since the Wii U is more powerful, it's only a matter of time. If Nintendo won't do it, a third party will.

Realism is the easiest way to show off power. You think Mario Kart U or that new Yoshi's Yarn game will blow away anything on the PS3 or 360? I don't.
Those games won't demand much power and aren't a good way to show off Wii U's supposedly amazing power. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Nintendo doesn't have any IP that are graphcially comprable to an Uncharted 3 or a Halo 4 while 3rd parties are extremely unlikely to create one for them.

because Metroid and proper Zelda are sooooo cartoony? get out of here!

Zelda is inno way realistic. It is "cartoony". Metro isn't as much though.

That looks even more cartoony due to how old it is. What is that N64, Gamecube?

..and now the wiiU vs PS4720 ... lol which is now a dead wiiU vs the unannounced systems.

And most of those predictions came BEFORE those systems launched.  After they launched, then sales proved them wrong.  Or in the case of the 3DS, a FUD drop of $80 from the price changed the situation.  However, the Wii U has already launched, it already has a 2D Mario (the biggest draw to a Nintendo system) and is already selling like a dying system, even in Japan.  The only thing that will turn it around is a flood (not just a few here or there) of great games, coupled with a $80-$100 price cut.

Well, so -realistically- converting those numbers to real-world pricepoints, PS4 will cost over $399/€399. I think everyone expected that, right? $499/€499 seems very likely, I would think.

so you are saying those who made those predictions stop banging on about it 1-2 years after release of the nintendo systems?.. and none of the "wait till this".. "wait till that" ever happened?...

you mean the 2D mario that has the same asset but in HD?.. who said it was the main system seller for the wii?

2 months in.. and its already predicted dead? it has not even begun to show its strong software.. something that is built from the ground up... seriously you people are silly ... after a year it is still like the situation it is in.. then call doom.. I will even call it doom and wont give it a chance like the vita has.. wait till this and that situation.
