And most of those predictions came BEFORE those systems launched. After they launched, then sales proved them wrong. Or in the case of the 3DS, a FUD drop of $80 from the price changed the situation. However, the Wii U has already launched, it already has a 2D Mario (the biggest draw to a Nintendo system) and is already selling like a dying system, even in Japan. The only thing that will turn it around is a flood (not just a few here or there) of great games, coupled with a $80-$100 price cut.
