MS won't do this unless Sony does it with the PS4 as well. If either of them do it, then I think its pretty much guaranteed the other will do it as well.

Actually, I have a cousin at Sony that told me that PS4 will do the same. And another cousin at Nintendo told me that pressure from publishers will cause Ninty to do the same in a firmware update.

Bet with jetforcejiminy: PS4 will pass the Wii lifetime numbers.
