Loved Bayonetta 1. I understand why Platinum went with Nintendo for Bayonetta 2; but its something I hope would be a timed exclusive.

Its because the PS3 and 360 consumers made that game successful enough to warrant a sequel. If your not releasing the sequel for that market I think it will negatively affect the sales and the consumer response.

However I think Nintendo did a great thing, coming in and publishing the game. If any game deserved saving it was Bayonetta 2, the original was amazing.

I think Platinum made a mistake accepting Nintendo's offer, they could've gone and found another publisher who would have released the game multiplatform; I'm not sure what the sales will be; but looking at something like Mass Effect. Microsoft seemed to have exclusive rights over Mass Effect 1, and somehow its on the PS3. If the game dosen't come to PS4/720, its of detriment to Platinum Games. That is the market for Bayonetta.

i'm a bayonetta fan, and i already owned a WiiU when Nintendo announced it so i wasn't complaining.

Bayonetta is not a system seller and theres nothing praises on the a forum is going to do to change that. Nintendo just did it to ward off their family/kiddy image.

Never played the original, but it's will be a must buy once I get a Wii U.

Thats the same thing as asking whether you think its a system seller. I doubt Nintendo will split the PS360 crowd over Bayonetta.

As a Nintendo fan I was probably going to end up getting one eventually, but the announcement of Bayonetta 2 was the game that pushed me from "meh, nothing interesting yet" to "I have to own this console!"

The first Bayonetta was one of my favourite games of the 7th generation.

No because I don't like pure action games. I need to think to enjoy games.
