Iwata is running the company into the ground. He needs a replacement immediately.

Why do you think that? Cloud gaming doesn't make any sense at the moment. Last time I check in order to have a great gaming experience you'll need at least 4-5 MBps of internet connection. The U.S barely reach that mark with an average of 6.7 MBps, with the global being 2.6 MBps. A LOT of people can't play using cloud gaming. In a few years maybe, but right now it doesn't make sense.

It's not just cloud gaming. It's everything. Iwata is just so stuborn.

Just like online gaming wasn't the future right? Just the man for the job!

That's right! He's the man who propelled Nintendo to the top sales-wise last gen!

I'm sorry I totally forgot that you got a small percentage of every sale they made. None of that matters to me.

The sales certainly do for the compamy :D

It's not just about hardware. Nintendo didn't do so well in the Software department other than the usual games that they release like Mario and Zelda. They need to be more developer friendly so people will start to make third party games on their consoles, something that the Wii U is lacking at the moment.

I suggest you take a look at the top 20 best selling games of all time, you'll find a disproportionate amount of Wii games in there.

Then I suggest you read what I wrote again, because you might have skimmed through it.

As far as I know the usual mario and zelda does not include wii sports, wii fit and all those other software wii stuff there is, and those stand pretty respectably in those sales lists.

You can't even buy Wii sporst at retail LOL. That game is heavily bundled pleaes don't bother mentioning it.

IsawYoshi already answered this perfectly.

I know full well what you wrote. Fact remains, whether you like it or not, they did perfectly in the 'Software department'.

^Not even going to bother trying with you people.

I believe this is the stupidest argument that come up all the time. There were so many millions that bought the wii ONLY for wii sports. There were also millions of people who bought ps2 ONLY for the dvd player, should that mean that those sales shouldt count. No, because you can't define how many of the who bought it just for the dvd player. The same rule counts for wii sports, at least for me. And if you insist, ignore wii, and look at the other ones. Wii fit sold many millions, so did wii sports resort (witch sold a lot without bundling).

Wii Sports wasn't bundled in Japan. You can extrapolate its sales from there to the rest of the world, if that makes you feel better.

So 3.7m legit sales? Fine with me.

No actually I believe you just created the most meaningless argument of all time. I'm talking about the bold section. Also using the word "stupidest" didn't really help your argument. I geniuinly laughed.

You didn't read his post correctly. You must've skimmed over it.

It was also unbundled worldwide about two or three years ago.

Lol Iwata. He will eat those words once Gaikai can stream 1080p games on PS4. It will become a huge part of next gen.

He also said he didn't like the current online platforms or something, thats why WiiU lacks achieve/trophy system.

I'm going to quote myself here...

Cloud gaming is far away to become a standard for most people due to bandwidth issues. There's also the problem that if you lose your internet...well you can't play. Or what about losing connection in the middle of a single player game. Cloud gaming may be the future, but's that's still a future far away for most people atm.
