^Not even going to bother trying with you people.

Okay, suit yourself. Live in a world where the Wii and it's software were unsuccessful if you want to.

Oh, and by the way, Wii Sports is available at retail (worldwide).

Just like online gaming wasn't the future right? Just the man for the job!

That's right! He's the man who propelled Nintendo to the top sales-wise last gen!

I'm sorry I totally forgot that you got a small percentage of every sale they made. None of that matters to me.

The sales certainly do for the compamy :D

It's not just about hardware. Nintendo didn't do so well in the Software department other than the usual games that they release like Mario and Zelda. They need to be more developer friendly so people will start to make third party games on their consoles, something that the Wii U is lacking at the moment.

I suggest you take a look at the top 20 best selling games of all time, you'll find a disproportionate amount of Wii games in there.

Then I suggest you read what I wrote again, because you might have skimmed through it.

As far as I know the usual mario and zelda does not include wii sports, wii fit and all those other software wii stuff there is, and those stand pretty respectably in those sales lists.

You can't even buy Wii sporst at retail LOL. That game is heavily bundled pleaes don't bother mentioning it.

I believe this is the stupidest argument that come up all the time. There were so many millions that bought the wii ONLY for wii sports. There were also millions of people who bought ps2 ONLY for the dvd player, should that mean that those sales shouldt count. No, because you can't define how many of the who bought it just for the dvd player. The same rule counts for wii sports, at least for me. And if you insist, ignore wii, and look at the other ones. Wii fit sold many millions, so did wii sports resort (witch sold a lot without bundling).

No actually I believe you just created the most meaningless argument of all time. I'm talking about the bold section. Also using the word "stupidest" didn't really help your argument. I geniuinly laughed.

You got me on the stupidest :D But I stand on my point there were many ones that bought the ps2 just for the dvd player. Now, I did not say that they did not use it only for dvd's. My family bought a ps2 only for playing dvd's. However we also ended up playing games on it. Also, our wii was bought only with wii sports in mind, there were no other reasons, but I bought many games on it later. I consider bndeled sales as legit sales, since people often buy the bundle because they want the game, not only the console.

In the future, 3rd parties are somehow going to be blamed for Iwata's/Nintendo's refusal to accept cloud gaming (once it takes off after its slow start). It's going to be spun something along the lines of they didn't try hard enough to convince them.

I'm sure if I sift hard enough I can find a point but I am dumb so please help.

Cloud gaming is the future. I mean, many American people can hardly stream Netflix, let alone people from the "emerging markets", but whatever, I can only think of the pleasures of that.

Oh, and it's going to be SO fun to enforce the "used" ideas Sony has been reportedly patenting.
