Forums - General - Your 2013 tech wish list?

What are the tech-y items you're planning on buying this year?

Here's mine:

--> Xbox 720 (of course)

--> 3DS (cos I like the competitiveness of the vgchartz tourneys and I want a piece of the pie! I also wanna play Pokemon)

--> A 7" Windows RT tablet (probably from HTC as they're the only manufacturer who's planning something like this ATM AFAIK)

Around the Network

- Next gen Xbox

- 7" tablet. Something basic, I wanna see what if any upgrades Google offers with the Nexus 7

- A new TV for the living room. Most likely a Panasonic plasma in the 60"+ class

- A new monitor to game on. I have no idea yet and I probably wouldn't get that until Black Friday.

-A handheld GPS for all of my outdoor needs, mostly fishing.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Don't have my sights set on anything in particular, but quite a few maybes

PS4 - if it releases and is of reasonable pricing
New IEM headphones, my senheissers are sort of broken
Some nice big headphones, probably AKG

PS Vita - a very distant chance, a price cut and memory card price reduction (I would like some chinese company to make some cheap "alternatives) and some killer games is the only way this is happening.

But for the most part i'll be spending my tech money on games.

I want new PC so i can play those games WiiU aren't getting and a quarter of my Steam-collection that i can't play right now because my current PC is underpowered.

I need a new pen

Around the Network

* New Xbox (Guaranteed)
* PS4 (75%-90%)
* Wii U (50%)
* PS Vita (90-99%)
* 3DS (75%)

A new PC for proper Wii/(PS2) emulation, maybe the PS4 if it releases at a reasonable price

Certain:
New smart phone- probably a new Galaxy S4 if it releases this year.

Likely:
New console, probably PS4, possibly the new Xbox

Maybe:
Steam Box if Valve decide to release it and it's actually somewhat compelling
New Nexus tablet, but my Nexus 7 seems to be holding up just fine so it seems doubtful.

I want them to build actual working Power Line AV2 spec products so I can run gigabit network through my power outlets, the spec sheet has been out since early last year and those butt heads still haven't built actual working ones!

Maybe a touch screen windows 8 ultrabook or ultrathin AMD counterpart, most likely to go with AMD APU versions though, Intel is priced too ridiculously.

I already updated my server and did overhaul on like 3 different computers in the house already and I got another 120GB SSD coming in after dropping one in a laptop already just 2 days ago.

Reduced prices (further) on Smart TV's, reduced prices on GPU's since I'll be getting an upgrade around fall.
