I always said if Microsoft focused more on new and unique IPs like Sony does instead of wasting their time with Kinect so much, they would have won this gen.

But Kinect saved Xbox 360's by selling millions and millions of 360s. In fact, before the release of kinect. The ps3 was expected to close the gap in 2010. But now kinect delayed it in 4 years, up to 2014. or 2013

Not even close. Kinect did more for 360 sales than Modnation Racers, PSASBR, MAG, Demon's Souls and InFamous did for PS3 combined. You could probably also throw LBP or Motorstorm in there.

The guys above seem to think so. I have no idea what the figures are though, I just kind of assumed. Especially with rumors of built in Kinect 2.0 in the next Xbox, they wouldn't do that if it wasn't popular
