Dear God! I can't even handle the video without lag. Laptop, you have failed me for the last time!

Don't blame your computer, blame your internet connection lol.

I wish that was the case, but I downloaded the video, and it's still laggy. :( I need a new system.

I like how the game has some kind of Viewtiful Joey style at least to some degree.

People should google Motion Resolution.  No LCD to date can handle 1080p motion resolution .  So it makes not much of a difference if a game is in 1080p or 720p+AA  as long as you are not doing standing around and just looking at the nice scenery. As soon as motion is happening the resolution takes a massive hit. (thats why you only see Slowmo or stills when you see HDTV Demo material at stores etc. My "old" Sharp TV dropped from 1080 to around 300p for moving images LOOL)

Most Wii U games are 1080p and if this is a 1st Party game then it is guarantee to be 1080p.

But 60 fps isn't special because it's been around for as long as 3D films & 3D TVs, which is the 1930's for both.

All bolded statements are wrong.

It's certainly a unique and (most important of all) fun looking game. I'm definitely going to try it out once it hits shelves. ^_^

It's funny how much wrong there can be in one post eh? (not dissing you Kaizar, just foolin'!)

Yeah, Wii U first-party games are actually only natively 720p, hence why the frame-rates are able to be so high.  And films are in 24fps, not 60.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Wrong. The vast majority are 720p (or less) just like the PS3/360 versions.

Well, Mass Effect 3 is the only 720p Wii U game that I know about.

But besides all the other Wii U game so far like Batman Arkham City Armored edition & assassin's creed 3 & Pikmin 3 & new super Mario bros U which almost didn't become a launch title are in 1080p.

Plus the Wii U has a "High-Definition GPGPU", so I don't see how games can be developed for the Wii U and be less then 720p.

But it is true that most PS3 & 360 games are no higher then 540p.

Motion resolution is largely irrelevant.  Between 2 displays with a wide gulf in their motion resolution, the average, and even trained viewer, can barely notice a difference.

The other problem is low motion resolution has the same apparences as motion blur that is a factor of the camera source and your brain's inability to detect motion frame by frame (which is a good thhing actually) anyway.   There are ways to reduce motion blur.

With regard to video games, refresh rate is the main factor and there are plenty of 120 and 240 Hz 1080p TV's and monitors out there.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

New Super Mario Bros. is definitely 720p, as all other Nintendo titles at the moment.

Wrong again.

1)
1080p games on WiiU: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (which is barely more than a HD remaster), Skylanders Giants, Toki Tori 2, Scribblenauts Unlimited (Smeags Edit :D)

Confirmed not to be 1080p: Trine 2, Mass Effect 3, New Super Mario Bros. U, CoD Black Ops 2 (880x720), Assassins Creed 3, Darksiders 2 (only 640p), Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (dynamic resolution, 1280x720p MAX - frequently lower), Batman Arkham City, Ninja Gaiden 3 (dynamic resolution, MAX 720p - goes down to 576p)

Questionable: Zombi U (E3 demo was confirmed to be running in 720p)

Most games ARE indeed 720p, while almost no game is 540p.
