Omg, he never said he had anything to back it up and it's obviously personal experience.....
Jeez.

Went to Halo 4 midnight launch with a friend and most if not all the people were talking about the story and universe. They'd spend only 6-10 hours in campaign but it was more important and for most players the first thing they experience when they put the disc in. Games are even adding story to secondary components like Spec Ops in Modern Warfare and Zombies stuff in Treyarch games. The dialogue was hilarious in Black Ops 1 zombies. Haven't played much in 2. Maps: Good maps design can enhance the mutliplayer experience so much. Ask the people who are still playing Dust in Counterstrike. Can't comment much on others as i mostly play COD but the map design in MW1 and 2 was great. Those ex infinity ward people knew how to craft something fun. BO1 did some interesting map design too but snipers complained (am not one). MW3 - The worst map design other than few maps. Aesthetically ugly. There is piles of rubble all over. Yes the world was at war but this won't be the first time. Also add colour. Just all out bland. Somehow i did the best in this game. Blops2 - Maps are small. I don't have much criticism. Nice use of colour. It adds to the experience when playing. DLC: Only bought one map pack for MW2. These are not important to me as 6-7 months after these show up there is a new game for same price as map packs. They are important to keep people playing and moving to other games. COD/Halo/Battlefield all boast some amazing DLC sales. Also friend was pretty exited about TwitchTv/Youtube integration built directly into Black Ops 2. Not a big deal for me but there are customers who appreciate it. I guess these are just going to increase with time. I rather have the option to turn of tweets and facebooks about what game i am playing and such. |
yea i'm not sure if you really caut that. friends whether online or offline multiplayer ask me "how do you know when i'm behind you" cause i'm always turning around by the time they come up behind me, and i tell them i'm paranoid lol.
when you're a tatical strategist, and your mind is already set to tactic's and strategy. how can you not anticipate something like that. it's like having a timer go off in your head. now mind you i'm likely playing shooters i never play, or haven't played in sometime, so those who i play against have the advantage of knowing the map. or so they think.
oh i never use the map. i'm go in the direction of instinct. i was challenged to use the map once and only died once. it's a shame i have to challenge myself. it's the not kknowing that's the challenge.
it's like i tell my nephew. expect everything.

Bit off topic but man they should hire you to write WWE scripts.

People replied to a Wh1pL4shL1ve claim that people on PS3 lack skill. This was based on nothing more than heresay and anecdotal experiences. I am not sure how can you prove things like that. Even a mass study with all the player data won't be conclusive enough. |
i've actively played on both systems and their shooters and have come to find PSN the bigger challenge but again as you've said that's personal experiance.
the people with the highest score or KD on both ssytems may be the worst on both systems. sometimes it's just the luck of the draw.
Guys from my personal experience the Wii Call of Duty has the more hard core players. That's where it's at.

the WWE need more then just my help right now. CM-punk and Ryback are likely the best stories going, while the rest float like trash in waste.

Yes I can because that would make it my opinion on his opinion. Does he have some sort of evidence to prove his point or is he just going off of personal experience? Because I could get a ton of my friends who play on both Xbox and PS3 to say that PS3 players are more skilled than Xbox players, doesn't make it true. Unless he has something to back it up it's, as you said, his opinion. |
As a person whos played COD BO 100+ hours on both versions (dont ask me why) and have been once invited to a professional clan ill put in to detail what I have experienced.
The maps are far more dynamic in Xbl. The Flanks move much more often as people tend to be far more active in wanting to flank you in xbl as opposed to the static nature of the maps Psn games. In on average games, PSN COD BO games did not change flanks at all in a whole game. By that I mean players in each team did not want to"invade" the other space of the map. Thus making their moves far more predictable and easier to kill. However if people tend to keep on moving, their moves are less predictable and harder to kill not to mention harder to stay alive.
Reflexes. To kill effeciently in COD, you need good latency to get the first "shot". (I believe COD BO did not have lag compensation on both versions) This was the "advantage" I always had against PSN players. (You could call it exploiting or whatever). The only way to couter this was to have "lightning" reflexes. When I came about in XBL. More people TEND (but not everyone) to have this skill thus I had to change my tactics.. dramatically.
Another difference ive seen is people in XBL tend to.. dare I say it.. camp. Quickscope. Drop shot. You name it. it damn annoying. Not to mention ghost+silencer combos.
If you want me to go in to more detail I could. But I dont know if you'll belive me and I might be just wasting my time.
Yay!!!

Well as I said this is just your personal experience and doesn't really mean much. Also @Bold, Black Ops was the first CoD to introduce lag comp. No Call of Duty before that (including MW2) had lag compensation.

The whole skills thing is such a silly perception. You get that because lot of youtube gaming celebs game on 360. There skill is good but the people they are playing against getting those 35/0 just seem horrible. Yet i don't go around saying one has less skill than the other. |
If you think I was just some sort of average COD player in the BO community then your wrong. I dissected that game to get every advantage I could get against other players.
I dont even like watching cod vids. Theyre boring and they only show their good games and not the games where theyre actually challenged.
Yay!!!

I would probably say the only difference between the two player bases is the party chat. More friends playing together and communicating strategy on the xbox is probably more common the ps3...
Of course, this is a fact taking straight out of my butt, so do with it what you will...
