Some just don't get it anymore, but the sales show that the superior days of the Xbox 360's sales dominating shooters are over. Sony has an audience ready to buy those types of games but just aren't pushing them to that group of people. They are there because COD sells between 10-12 million on the PS3 alone.

Halo 4, did you see it? Not sure how that isn't dominant.

The PS3's top selling COD has outsold the top selling Halo. The ceiling has been lifted for shooters on the PS3. Give it up, the time of dominance is over.

number 9 is probably the second biggest reason I dont play online very much on my ps3... first would be most of my friends have 360's...

I can't argue that, but COD is still fun and competitive on the PS3. I wish I had bought it on the 360 but it was sold out. The online is just as healthy.

The online is just as healthy.. yes I agree. But the comunication is lacking and the skill of the average player is.. how would I put this.. in easy mode as compared to XBL.

No.

Have you tried both? I have, I agree. I go to my mates house all the time and we play cod (even though I don't really like it.) and it's much easier on the ps3.

So then tell me what makes Xbox so much more difficult?

Skill of the average player, did you read before you posted? You're previous one makes it seem as though you didn't. It's only our personal experiences, no need to get all defensive. You can't say no to someones opinion.

The skill of the average player on the Xbox 360 is about the same to the average gamer on the PS3. It's the above average players that that exist on both platforms, but because of the amount of avid shooter fans on the 360 they might have a bit more. The number has dwindled though as COD has grown nearly to parity on both consoles.

You guys need to play some Dust 514.

I wonder sometimes why Sony ever invested in that game.

Yes I can because that would make it my opinion on his opinion. Does he have some sort of evidence to prove his point or is he just going off of personal experience? Because I could get a ton of my friends who play on both Xbox and PS3 to say that PS3 players are more skilled than Xbox players, doesn't make it true. Unless he has something to back it up it's, as you said, his opinion.

As a person whos played COD BO 100+ hours on both versions (dont ask me why) and have been once invited to a professional clan ill put in to detail what I have experienced.

The maps are far more dynamic in Xbl. The Flanks move much more often as people tend to be far more active in wanting to flank you in xbl as opposed to the static nature of the maps Psn games. In on average games, PSN COD BO games did not change flanks at all in a whole game. By that I mean  players in each team did not want to"invade" the other space of the map. Thus making their moves far more predictable and easier to kill. However if people tend to keep on moving, their moves are less predictable and harder to kill not to mention harder to stay alive.

Reflexes. To kill effeciently in COD, you need good latency to get the first "shot". (I believe COD BO did not have lag compensation on both versions) This was the "advantage" I always had against PSN players. (You could call it exploiting or whatever). The only way to couter this was to have "lightning" reflexes. When I came about in XBL. More people TEND (but not everyone) to have this skill thus I had to change my tactics.. dramatically.

Another difference ive seen is people in XBL tend to.. dare I say it.. camp. Quickscope. Drop shot. You name it. it damn annoying. Not to mention ghost+silencer combos.

If you want me to go in to more detail I could. But I dont know if you'll belive me and I might be just wasting my time.

Do you actually believe half of what you wrote? The maps are more dynamic on XBL? What?

Sony has made more shooters than Microsoft. The problem with Sony is they want to push this core experience that is totally unidentifiable by the average gamer so their sales will reflect such.

Cod is multiplatform. Halo is not, also, has not the top cod on 360 sold more than the top cod on ps3?

Edit: 3 of the top 5 selling CoD games are on the 360.

To get an exclusive game that'll get some PC players to buy a PS3?
