You guys always complain about how Sony doesn't market their games and when they do you say it's a waste of money.
What do you guys want?

"More than 110 million viewers are expected to tune in to Super Bowl XLVII"
Also the trailer on youtube is a TEASER, not the full thing. It just depends when the trailer airs. If it's in the middle of a commercial break it wont have that much of an effect cause people aren't paying attention. It has to be right at the start of the break or during the end.

Half of the people watching the game are just as interested in the commercials. Sony better make it just as epic as the Xperia Play one.

Nobody can take Microsoft's place when it comes to marketing. They spent over $40m marketing Halo 4. i saw halo 4 ads everywhere even in my toilet. 4 million is nothing compared to it. |
Where did you get the 40 million from?

Read about it on the internet. I don't know if it's true though.
That's an excellent opportunity but I hope they show enough gameplay footage and make it clear that the game is coming out soon on PS3. The commercial for Dante's Inferno a couple of years back turned out to be utterly useless considering that it showed no gameplay and most people probably couldn't tell that it was a video game (the game's name and the consoles it is available on were flashed very briefly at the end in a matter of like three seconds, anyone could have missed that.)

i would say it was maybe even more but it's not as if they would show one god of war trailer at super bowl and no more advertisement on the whole planet haha. sony is always advertising more here in germany and probably other european countries and japan so i think this "sony doesn't advertise their games" is not really true worldwide and i think they don't really spend less as microsoft for console and game advertisement.

Dude, wake up. Sony never advertise anything they'll just show you a chick walking around and a close up of a dudes eye. Take it or leave it.
