That doesn't mean that it doesn't show market potential. It doesn't have to be a gigantic increase, but a decent amount of growth is very possible.

You actually place Starcraft about Baduk (Go) and Janggi (Korean Chess) as far as strategy games go?

I can understand praising it, but to say it surpasses the two I mentioned?

Its going to be better for Microsoft and Sony than it will Nintendo.

Looking at Chinese purchasing/user habits online, their market is far closer to South Korea rather than Japan - something that will play well with more online-centric systems (PS3/360).

I know, but isn't England lumped in with rest of Europe, and it is more like the United States in how things sell than the rest of Europe actually.

Yes, they're. But I was talking about the sheer amount of sales for Japan. In Japan consoles (Minus the 360) sell more units. That's why Japan is such a big player in consoles sales and why I think they should be kept seperate from the rest of Asia.

There's still a huge market within that 1.3 Billion who *can* afford a console.  Just look at how Apple's doing in China.  iPhones aren't cheap, and Apple just did $7.3 Billion in revenue for the quarter:

True. But I think it'll take awhile for these consoles to break through in China. It won't happen overnight.

Well, if this is true and it happens relatively early in the year, it looks like the PS3 may very well end up only ~10%-15% down YOY. Of course, the PS3 is also going to see a large rise in Brazil, as well, since Sony is starting production of the system down there, so a much lower price.
