well they did say they want to experiment with the hd art styles before the real zelda comes out.

I'd like to see it in motion. In the screens, it looks like Nintendo have gone over-board with bloom lighting.
nintendo just let the game look different and not "hd doesn't work with cell-shading"
it is concept work not ingame graphics etc. Why do you think there was no video etc?
Because not even the island in the pictures is done yet. I have to agree that it looks shitty tho.
Blue sky is now bloomy turquise etc. The chosen colors on WiiU are just totally ugly.
The thing looked like a interactive cartoon and now looks meh.

I beg to differ, the newer version looks far more clean, and the colours are downright beautiful
I'm definitely in agreement that this update is a remarkable improvement on the original.
I'm more concerned about them actually finishing the game this time though.

I kept writing in every forum that this is not an HD remake as many online magazines call it, it is an HD REMASTER! To keep calling it a remake is a scam. Doing a remaster there isn't much one can improving, the graphics design will always be the same, just at higher resolution. Just look at Resident Evil: Veronica X. It was bad looking for PS2, it didn't improve much going HD.
I think it looks gorgeous! Can`t wait to see it in motion and see what changes Nintendo will add.
