Hmm I don't know, I am a bit disappointed I liked the style of Xenoblade more than this and for a game on a HD console it looks at least average.

I wouldn't go that far, but they do look a lot nicer than anything we've seen on the Wii U so far; and (possibly) better than most of what we've seen from the HD consoles. I don't want to claim much more than that because it will bring up apples and oranges comparisons between XBox 360 or PS3 games with tiny environments and short draw distances against (what looks like) a very massive open world with a very far draw distance.
