Basically they've ruined their E3 show ^^

Some good announcements, though most of them were expected to come out soon anyway.

Also mark my words. If the new Mario Kart doesn't come with any hardware peripheral (even if it's just plastic) it will do MUCH worse than MK Wii (even if the WiiU gets a 100m userbase). The plastic wheel was the big reason why it was pirated much less in certain regions.

So it will only sell 15 million?

hehe depending on the WiiU lifetime sales it's possible. But 8m and 22m would also be possible.
And I see what you did there.

The only big games from there were Mario Kart and 3D Mario, both of which were expected. But then again I'm not sure how big 3D Mario and Mario Kart are, considering both the Gamecube and N64 received those games. The Wii U needs a game like Wii Sports. When is Wii Fit U releasing? These are true "anti-doom" games.

this i can agree with, i really doubt mario still has the some wieght it had back in the N64 and gamecube era. it was the wii/wii sports that sold mario lastgen imo, if wii sports and wii fit don't spark sales then imo nintendo is 100% doomed.

So my guesses for the rest of the year

March - Lego City Stories
April - Made In Wario
May - Pikmin 3
June - Wii Fit U + $50 or more price drop
July - The Wonderful 101
August - Yoshi's Land
September - Wii U Party
October - Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Reborn
November - Super Mario EAD Tokyo
December - Mario Kart U

2014:

Bayonetta 2
X (Xenoblade 2)
Super Smash Bros. U
Shinmen x Fire Emblem
Retro's Game (Star Fox?)
Donkey Kong Country U
Wii Sports U
etc.

I think there is a chance that Wii Sports U will be released this year...along with Wii Fit U ;)

I was thinking that too but with Made In Wario and Wii U Party this year along with Wii Fit U, I'd say that's getting into mini-game overkill.

What happened? Did I miss something? Did Nintendo announce F-Zero GX2?

"SMT x FE!!!! (wow this was out of left field!)"

Really, no surprises? Tell me when you predicted that one (Nostradamus, is that you?), because I'd love to know! I would've bought my Wii U along time ago if you had told me about that.

Maverick has never had anything good to say about Nintendo, I wouldn't expect that to change.

You could reveal Street Fighter cross Final Fantasy and he still wouldn't budge.

Haha, well seeing that SMT x FE announcement for me was this kind of reaction...

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

I think it was a great ND!

people always want more though

You got it wrong. People who are legitimately interested are pleased, it's just the usual haters who always find a way to spin it into doom.

All that's left is the question what comes first, FFv13 or Xenoblade 2?

I am very pleased that the machine that will play all those games from today is already in my house.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

could'nt the samething be said for new mario bros u, but its not exactly lighting the world on fire like the wii version.

It is kind of limited by the userbase at the moment. According to VGC the Wii U has 2.4 million sales and NSMBU has 1.4 million sales. That's almost a 60% attach rate, which is pretty damn good.

yea but it not really selling systems, look at  wiiu sales, its selling like the vita.

hmm..true I wasn't thinking about Made in Wario... But on the other Hand they will need many games ot withstand the releases of the ps4 ans 720...

But It looks very good...but you forget to put 3D Mario in 2013... I mean if it really is in a playable form at E3 Itwill certanly be released at the end of 2013

it was certainly a good showing overall.  some things were certainly obvious.  i could have predicted a mario kart even before the wiiU was announced but it is nice to know what will be sooner than later.

the worst part of the show for me is the conspcious absence of anything 3rd party.  no GTAV, no  bioshock, no dark souls2, no what-have-you.  i never feared nintendo would bring a handful of great games a year but i buy at least 30 a year and no third party means i'll likely regret a wiiU purchase as much as i did my wii in the long run.

nintendo support will, as usual, dry up in a few years as they prep for their next console launch (likely the successor to the 3DS) leaving nothing left if third parties don't show.  that's not a mistake i want to make again.
