Hmm... Let's see here:

Watching the Blue Shell hit Rol in the last second, causing me to win the tournament.
Getting three mushrooms at the end of the first level (Alpine Pass) of the final round, resulting in victory of a huge margin.
Playing Daisy Cruiser (not sure which round) without being hit by a single item. Again, resulting in victory of a huge margin.

That's pretty much all I can remember :P The entire tournament was passing through pretty smoothly until the last three races.
