Well, we can already judge the launch, although we should keep in mind, that it can go in any direction after launch. And the WiiU-launch was ... better than X360/PS3 and a bit worse than Wii in USA and Japan, and is much worse than the three in europe. So good (but not excellent) overall and bad in europe.

Maybe...maybe not. Even if people do realize they're wrong, it's unlikely that they would enter this thread to publicly apologize. When people realize they were wrong, it's more likely that they keep it private and secretly adopt a different way of thinking. Hopefully in the future when someone thinks of calling a game a flop based on expectations, they'll think of this thread and realize how ridiculous that reasoning is.

And even if I didn't convince anyone, it's still worth trying anyway. 

Personally I think the WiiU isn't even doing bad. Holiday sales aren't huge but there is probably stock problems as its new and word needs to spread. I have hardly seem any adverts in the UK. Just give the WiiU TIME and I'm sure these threads will looks stupid!

Yeh I have seen that too. The WiiU is doing really well for a new system. Nintendo fans must getting sick of this constant bashing. Also as you would know do you know when Zelda will come out? I had never played it before then my friend had it on his DS and it was fantastic! I might get a wiiU just for it if it comes out soonish 

Well, as the numbers are not so bad, I don't think the Nintendo-fans are overall that sick of the bashing as the Vita-fans (seems not all Sony-fans equal Vita-fans), because the numbers at thiat front look not that promising. But the WiiU could go in the Vita-direction, we have only the launch so far.

For Zelda: no idea. It is not announced and Skyward Sword is somewhat over a year past. I think first will come a new Zelda for 3DS, it's about time. Zelda for WiiU will need until 2014 or longer I think. But Darksiders 2 works for me very good as Zelda-replacement at the moment.

if a product from a company they don't favor doesn't meet the expectations of a few they behave in one way ( usually using it as an opportunity to bash )

now if this happens with a company they favor they completely recant what they said in the prior situation and end up making similar statements to those they ridiculed bfore

No it's not a flop, i can't believe people are saying this JUST 3 to 6 WEEKS after launch, give it time people

It's not a flop. Not at all.
Next gen sales will be way lower than current/last gen.
Everyone will be down. PS4 will sell way less than PS3.
And Wii U will sell less than Wii, but it will still be the best selling next gen console.
