I think the Wiiu did good. If you look at the way the market is going for gaming a lot more people are playing smartphone games like Angry Birds and things of that nature. It is not like the only gaming you can do is video games. Everyone plays cellphone games now a days no matter how old you are. So that is why doing that much in this day and age is not bad at all. As long as Nintendo can keep getting more mature games it should do fine!

Hell the Wii U doubled each in the same time frame.

Though PS3 lacked Europe in said time frame.

You love hating on Nintendo right? In every thread of Nintendo, I see you bashing the wiiU. This thread was about how you thought the wiiU did in 2012 and the numbers show that it has the second best launch numbers in the console history with 2.48m units sold in 6 weeks. How is having an opinion about the sales in any means bashing the console? Also I would like to see numbers, maybe a graph comparing Wii U to every other console launch?  Of course, all launches aligned. Care to show that?

360 launch went just as expected, it was a terrible launch.

Historical facts, name a nintendo home console which has done that. Did GC do that? Did N64 do that? Did Wii do that after PS360 turnaround?

And also, your comment was irrevelant to this thread because the OP clearly was talking about 1st year as in 2012, not first full year as in 365 days. If you would of read and used your logic a bit instead of trying to be an anti-nintendo elitist, you would of known that your comment was completly irrevelant to this thread.

I think it's better to ignore him. The majority of his posts have been in the Nintendo section... trolling. That is enough proof of that he has a bias against Nintendo.
