I would say between good/great. A solid great would be 2.8 million, and a solid fantastic 3.5 million.

It is hard to say it had less than a good launch. It did have the second highest launch in home console history afterall.

It didn't do bad. But did it do better than the PSV?

No, it din't do well. Because Wii U is deserved to sell more than 10million in the holiday season alone. Haha, joke. I think it did pretty well. At least I love my Wii U, but I am really worring about the upcoming titles. Checking the calendar, it seems very poor.

6 weeks in America, a month in Europe and under a month in Japan. Not 2 months

It's done well in Japan and America, not so well in Europe. A good start overall.

The WiiU is less than 2 million or so away from the Vita lifetime sales, so it's had a much better start.

Someone should make a prediction thread when the Wii U will surpass the Vita in LTD sales.

Compared to the Wii, it's not doing too good. But this is a marathon, not a sprint - so it still has a chance of outselling Wii. It all comes down to the capabibilty of the system; is it future proof?

Compared to the launch of PS360 it did very well.

The most interesting period is now imo: after January we'll be able to judge just HOW well it's doing.

Well it took Sony until the end of June (7 months after it first launched) last year to hit 2.2m shipped, never mind sold.

Meanwhile, this is after 6 weeks. It's not even a relevant comparison.
