So going by this report we can confirm that Wonder Book, PSASB and LBP Karting will be on the NPD top 10 software list? And the Vita have sold more then the 3DS? That will be amazing and will prove that Sony was the big winner during December.

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right
I actually went to my local Best Buy yesterday and saw Wii U to be completely in stock. I only saw the Basic White though. I don't know if my store even carried the Deluxe, but from the looks of it they don't. You guys think Nintendo is discontinuing the Deluxe? I heard it was limited.

Nintendo never said the Deluxe was limited, those will stay. From what I understand the Deluxe versions are the ones that have sold while the Basic ones are easy to find. Maybe Nintendo will stick to the Deluxe version and remove the basic down the line.

The Wii U stopped selling out a few weeks ago. I love my Wii U but all of my friends say "I'll be interested when super smash bros 4 comes out"
I guess that shows how important the super smash bros. series is for nintendo. Also the fact that ssbm pretty much sold the gamecube. I also think the wii u isn't selling out because of the advertising.
The adds suck and nintendo isn't advertising as much as they should. Nintendo needs to tell everyone what games the Wii U has in their adds. Sega did this with the genesis. If they did that we would see Wii u's selling out again.

I agree, the WiiU ads (specifically in the US) are pretty bad. Visually, they work; I like the initial idea (the set, colors, etc), but the end result just misses the mark.
Nintendo really needs to step up their ad game in general. For example, during The Walking Dead, I lost count of how many times I saw Resident Evil 6 commercials... with the 360 logo at the end, meaning that Microsoft footed the bill. Where in the hell was Nintendo's funding of a ZombiU commercial during TWD? Such a missed opportunity.
