Eh, what you're getting at could be said of many bundles. The average Joe goes on perceived value. Therefore, those bundles will be a steal to many and Sony's banking on that. Plus, those are acclaimed games, for the most part, that are bundled. Not Haze, Lair, and Splinter Cell Double Agent (all awful PS3 titles).

sure, but most bundles have at least an advantage in price. most of the time the msrp of a console bundle is lower as if you would buy it seperately but this isn't the case with this bundle and like i said, it's sony's good right to do that, they make the same money with it as if they would sell it seprately and get their own ips in peoples households.

There is the first bundle limited for the launch of GT5 in Europe... if I'm not wrong just 100k units was available... there is another bundle too for launch with a Titanium PS3... 20k or 30k units available.

The second bundle is with the Platinum Edition of GT5 and LittleBigPlanet 2... this version was available for some months with the 160GB PS3 (already discontinued)... look at the LittleBigPlanet 2 sales to know how much this bundle sold.

I guess all the GT5 bundles together sold less than 1 million units...

Some weeks ago somebody said the increase in GT5 sales was because the bundles in Europe but the increase was just in US (15k to 50k)... US have little GT5 bundles even in the launch.

Forgot one. That was another bundle. I thinkt this was prior to the bundle with LBP2.
And no, the bundle was not limited to 100k. It was as widespread as the Xbox 360 holiday bundle.

But that was Japan only.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

This bundle was for UK too... there is another with FIFA and GT5 in UK... like I said limited and sold out in less than 1 month... the same happened in France.

You link is not what we consider a bundle... it's a combo made with console + games... separated products sold togheter with discounts.

The Super Slim with 500GB and 2 games is just 20€ more than the 12GB super slim with 1 game. Why would you buy the 12GB version?

The 4GB 360 model was not available at launch, but still, I didn't realize those offerings were so close in price. Does make the 12GB seem a little less important.

Sorry, I have confused it with the "Core" version of the Xbox360, which was aviable at launch. My point regarding the 12GB super-slim still stands, though.
