When I picked up a WiiU, I also picked up Arkham City, Black Ops2, AC3 and Trine2. Multiplat support seems fine. Nintendo seems to have non-disclosure for anything beyond the end of the 6 month launch window. I suspect this is intentional to give the launch titles the limelight for a while as a reward for early support, and so that E3 after the window ends will be a big explosion of games excitement. It's hard for multiplats to make money on WiiU with the small install base, so you're not going to see all of them ported. But porting isn't that tough, with Ubisoft saying it was pretty straightforward and cost about $1mil. Reggie's comments suggest that GTA will be coming. I would also like to see Final Fantasy, Bungie, Konami and Capcom support. If WiiU gets that...and I think there is a good chance for some with what will likely be a large Japanese install base... I would be happy enough to not consider another system. At least for quite a while.

You're forgetting some games Turkish!

Lightning Returns
Dark Souls 2
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes
Sniper Ghost Warrior 2

WiiU might get Splinter Cell Blacklist though...

Omg I forgot about those games! Thanks for reminding!

Fine, that you both ignore the multiplats I named. they don't support the image you want to create:

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge

Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth

Scribblenauts Unlimited

NBA2K13

F1 Race Stars

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Need for Speed Most Wanted

FIFA 14

If you mention WiiU exclusives we'll have to add all the PS3/360 exclusives ;)

What 3rd party PS3/360 exclusives are coming out in 2013?

I'm sure there must be a few indie ones, at least, but I bet that any major 3rd party exclusives we'll be seeing next year will be on 8th generation systems.

Well. I guess there are a few, heh. I was sure that Tales of Xillia was already out over here, but i guess Namco is still absurdly slow to port their Tales games over. -_- Besides Atelier Ayesha, I haven't heard of any of the games on that list, and I somehow forgot about Ni no Kuni.

FFXIV is also on PC, though.

Based on that list, it's already over. Only two multiplat games being released on a console that currently doesnt have any captivating software to justify a purchase? Yeah...its over.

This is why people don't like nintendo. You release a subpar console, with subpar hardware and lack of software support & then expect people to cater to you? Why would developers cater to nintendo at this point? They didnt cater to wii when it was a massive hit, why would they bother. Clearly that list says it all.

Didn't nintendo claim they were going to have alot of 3rd party support, where is it?

my greatest games: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024

And that isn't even the half of it.  We don't even know what they may be planning.  I DO think WiiU WILL get more support than Wii, if not up to the level of PS360, at least better than its predecessor.

I do wonder how many times I'm going to have to quote myself in this thread.

DS1 came out after WiiU was revealed last year, and I'm sure many of these games have started development after devs heard WiiU was in development.

I heard about the Wii U way back in mid 2010.   Doesn't mean I was able to put a game on it.

Granted, I'm not a developer...but my point is just because a 3rd party is aware of the system doesn't mean they can support it right away.

1. Does the developer have the allocated budget (internally or from a publisher) to add another console?

2. Does the developer ahve the manpower to allocate to another SKU?

3. Does the developer have enough development kits for simultaneous development?

4. Is the game engine already on the system or will that require another years worth of work?

5. Was the hardware finalized enough for us to put resoruces into it when we began development?

And many other questions go into the development process.  You can't just say because a dev heard about the console that it means they could develop their game for it they wanted to.  It's not that simple.
