Based on that list, it's already over. Only two multiplat games being released on a console that currently doesnt have any captivating software to justify a purchase? Yeah...its over.

This is why people don't like nintendo. You release a subpar console, with subpar hardware and lack of software support & then expect people to cater to you? Why would developers cater to nintendo at this point? They didnt cater to wii when it was a massive hit, why would they bother. Clearly that list says it all.

Didn't nintendo claim they were going to have alot of 3rd party support, where is it?

I do wonder how many times I'm going to have to quote myself in this thread.

DS1 came out after WiiU was revealed last year, and I'm sure many of these games have started development after devs heard WiiU was in development.

I heard about the Wii U way back in mid 2010.   Doesn't mean I was able to put a game on it.

Granted, I'm not a developer...but my point is just because a 3rd party is aware of the system doesn't mean they can support it right away.

1. Does the developer have the allocated budget (internally or from a publisher) to add another console?

2. Does the developer ahve the manpower to allocate to another SKU?

3. Does the developer have enough development kits for simultaneous development?

4. Is the game engine already on the system or will that require another years worth of work?

5. Was the hardware finalized enough for us to put resoruces into it when we began development?

And many other questions go into the development process.  You can't just say because a dev heard about the console that it means they could develop their game for it they wanted to.  It's not that simple.
