Ok yea. There are that many on eBay.
but that doesn't support your argument because if there is supply demand doesn't mean people will buy it on eBay. I buy my products at stores like most parents do not over ebay.

We are 2 1/2 weeks from Xmas. There are ~3,400 Wii Us on eBay, most being sold at retail price. Nintendo fans keep going on about low supply as the reason for there being low sales. Sorry, but all that does not compute. There is either no supply and no demand, hence the low resale prices. Or there is some demand and enough supply for that demand. Which is it?

Well, if we were on shortage, if the hype was on, those WiiU would sell like crazy and the price would go way higher. Nope, auctions are ending and ending without bid...
This WiiU catastrophe reminds me of The Last Story's release. We managed to convince ourselves that it was out of stock everywhere. 
3DS is abysmal. Clearly August was not the time for a rushed 2D Mario, they could have used that extra couple of months to actually polish the experience. Also, it's quite obvious tablets have irreparably damaged dedicated handhelds in the West.

This site has a list of wii U's availabe in your area. Also gamestop is now allowing store picks on Wii u from their online store.
Lot of smack talk about the Wii U.
Just wait till the BIG games come out (like we're still waiting on for the Vita).

I physically can't believe it's that low at this time of the year for anything other than supply.

Of course, the WiiU will sell just fine, hate to read all the doom stuff.
I see Wii U in stock everywhere. Here in Vancouver Canada area that is.
