Don't forget the 3ds last year has just received a price cut as well as mario 3d land and mario kart 7. Games wise they are not even close to matching that this xmas with paper mario and epic mickey being the main two games. Still i take your point that 300k is a lot to be down though.

What about total sales? Just sayin' but... GT5 outsells Forza 3&4 combined.

i said it months ago and i still stand by it... late ports of ps30 games will not do anything for the wiiU regardless of what things they add.

The kids on the left are Forza 2, 3, and 4 :P
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Agreed. As good as those games might be people who already own say for example, batman arkham city would not go out and purchase it again for the wii u. Im sure some people would, but for the most part those games would get skipped by most people.

it is no wonder - playstation is a very known brand, the first two consoles were great and by now the prices are low. so no surprise to. the games you mentioned coming in 2013 are most likely not the reason as i believe that the masses don't even know about these titles, perhaps except god of war. last but not least the ps3 is a great console so why should people not buy it? but i do think things would look different if ms had done a pricedrop but they didn't so sony's console was bought also.

Good point. Personally i thought nintendo should have held off on releasing nsmb2 till xmas. That to me would have given it a little extra momentum. Couple that with an animal crossing release and it could have beaten last years numbers.

Not necessarily. The one guy could have totally deserved it. He may have conned them out of their lunch money or sold them fake Yugioh cards :P
Picture just means "gang-up effect". Judging what they did is all relative.
