PS3 numbers very low..same with vita

software is completely undertracked..... GT5 isn't even top 40, and it sold like crack..

a lot of games are off

Did you not read the news? Sony sold near 800k PS3 in BF week... the gap is more like 150k... close.

Near 800k?.... no way, i am not seeing that, it's more like 725k, the gap should be 250k round there.

Hummmm...

PS3 (VGC): 380k
PS3 (Sony): 525k

So add 145k (diff) to 643k (VGC) = 788k plus NA sales based + 200% up in LA

725k is unlikely... over 800k is a good bet at the moment.

Besides, the Vita prediction hasn't been proven right or wrong yet, so I won't be 'eating crow' (I had to google what that meant) until I'm proven wrong.

I don't think that many of the Vita sales were gifts, especially for younger kids, or anything like that.

I think it was just 18-26 year olds that have wanted one for awhile and were just patient for a good deal to come along. If that IS the case, then not many people have wanted one for a while.

I predict Vita sales drop for the rest of the year, won't be this high again even near Christmas.

3DS on the other hand has the potential for spikes.



Vita needs Monster Hunter.

Yes i know, i just started doing my catching up on the news. So i jumed the gun a bit, i noticed the numbers on the front page and then went in this thread and saw people talking about 800k this and 800k that. 

Damn this happnes every year on this site, not even in the ball pak on the vita numbers. You would figure after so many years we would be better at tracking by now, jeeez!
