Marcus beer paid months and months for playing games online like WoW... Honestly why doesn't get games like WoW a lot of shit? You pay for the game....and pay to play it online but I never saw such drama from gamers though. If you have to attack people who enjoy themself Xbox live than you are simply just a sad person.

I'm pretty sure Blizzard updated WoW a lot more than Microsoft updated Live.  One would hope so considering the subscription cost a lot more for WoW.

What has Microsoft added to Live in the past few years?  I am pretty sure they finally added IE browser recently.  My main problem with Live (besides having to pay for it to play multiplayer games) is that they shouldn't have Netflix and other streaming service available only for Gold.  Those services should be allowed for even the most basic Live subscription considering Netflix is on all home console systems now.

I think theres no excuse for monthly subscriptions for games. Its just one game and your paying $100-200 a year to play just one game. That notion in itself is absurd.

Xbox Live costing money is fine except for one aspect, the multi-player components built into the software I purchase should be free to access simple as that.

You want to charge for apps and stuff like ESPN fine but stop charging people for something they already paid for and that is multi-player

I payed $20 bucks a month for Seganet on Dreamcast and it was worth every penny!!! I pay like 4 bucks a month for Xbox live and its really worth it! I mean who in the fuck can't afford 4 buck a month?

Not really. Any major game changing update happens in an expansion pack (which you have top buy to play). They also shut down servers once a week for maintanece and you cant play at all during that time (any where from 2-12 hours). Its why i qout playing, same for diablo 3 except no monthly fee for that.

Marcus has a legit gripe with Microsoft the same way he does with many corporate and gaming issues. Again, its an important issue because very few people question Microsofts moves in front of Michael Pachter. A lot of people on Gametrailers are agreeing with Marcus.
