42. God of War III (PS3)

I enjoyed all the God of War games but this one was truly astounding. Some absolutely breathtaking moments with moving levels, over the top fights and the visceral combat that makes God of War so much fun.

Luigi Mansion? |
Correct!
That was fast. I was thinking of a way to make the clue not be completely obvious, but that's basically impossible with this game
.
Clue for 41: This game came out in the mid 80s and featured a main character that collected bombs, ran away from robots and shares a name with a certain samurai.

Well, you could have put something regarding Professor E.Gadd, since he has appeared on at least 4 other more Mario/Luigi games and that would have make it harder to guess
.
I loved Luigi Mansion btw, got it with my GC and it's probably amongst my most played games on the console, and that's counting the plethora of RPGs I played in it. Trying to get the best rank possible at the end of the game took me a long while XD.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that guy... Been a while I guess
.
Loved it too, I personally feel the GameCube is the weakest of Nintendo's consoles but Luigi's Mansion was a bright spot for sure. Though I didn't get the GC until a couple months before Wind Waker came out in 2003, Luigi's Mansion was also the first game I got for the system. Played through it only once I'm afraid, but I've been thinking about playing it again for years now. Guess I should just finally do it.
Maybe right before the successor comes out. My most anticipated handheld game at the moment. Can't wait for that game!

Bomb Jack
Primarily an RPG player but have interest in any game that will make me think.
My 42 - Tetris DS (nds)
Played Tetris on the original Gameboy for absolutely ages was great but always a bit annoyed with the screen being a touch blurry as it got faster and faster. Tetris DS was such a great clear screen, had the hold feature to keep onto one and also had online play head to head against someone or in a ratty 4 player mode where you could game the timing against every one in the game at the same time, doesn't really get much more pure than tetris for gameplay really in a puzzle.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive
I kinda wish I put the witcher 2 higher after playing the balance mod.
42. LIL GIRL IS BIG BAD SPY! you can also take pictures of her in her undies
41. My favorite love story in a JRPG franchise, that has 2 other games more known for love stories, but I like those love stories less, but like those games more.
#42: Super Smash Bros. (1999)
Last Year: 40

With a history as rich as Nintendo's, you almost wondered how this didn't happen sooner. Super Smash Bros. pitted Nintendo's greatest characters against each other in a four player (or less if you want) brawl to the death! And not only was it a blast to play, it let us finally decide who really was Nintendo's supreme character. Mario? Link? Samus (ironically her only playable game in the N64 era)? Nope. That would be Jigglypuff. That Down B took care of the rabble (hilarious once we actually figured out how it worked), and lord Jigglypuff reigned supreme. Even today we'll play a couple rounds of the original Smash from time to time, and still have a great time. Oh, and that commercial is still one of the best ever. So happy together indeed.
